Thanks, folks.  Those are all great ideas.  The Tuffy cargo cage was closest
to what I'll need.  I love the little safes that sit under the seat, but
they're just not nearly big enough for a banjo and a dobro... :)  The cage
has the disadvantage that it's always there.  I wonder if the upper bunk is
deep enough to hold a guitar if the pad is removed.  I'll check that out
tomorrow.

Great ideas.  I'm thinking...
