I installed them on my '85 Westy and haven't had a problem with them
creeping.

What I did was install the front part between the rubber window channel
and the metal frame ... rather than inside the channel like it is at the
top.  I didn't use any type of adhesive and they've stayed in place for
a year and a half now.
