As promised, I drove by and took a look at Michael Tevis' <latebidder> place of business right behind Auto Works on Hwy 32 in Chico. Looks real to me. Found his website, too. The place looks much like the photo on his homepage 3 or 4 vanagons and a baby Benz were parked by Door #68 and another three nice-looking vanagons just across the alley. No subarus. The vanagon closest to the door was an early '70s vintage whose name might have been 'Parts'. His website: http://www.tevisengineering.com/ (includes a different email address, snail mail address and phone number) So, it would seem his claims are all factual. Then, perhaps he is like a good croissant... soft, warm and flaky? ;) regards, Felicia On Feb 24, 2009, at 6:02 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote: > Date: Tue, 24 Feb 2009 13:48:05 -0800 > From: Jeffrey Vickers <jeff@VICKERSDESIGN.COM> > Subject: Re: Ripoff artists named (TheSamba) > > That guy is a member of the SubaruVanagon and SVX List.
