Greetings,
My "84 van has been a trooper this winter up here north of Spokane Washington, and an interesting one we have had.  But,  my oil light has been coming on after the van has gone 10 miles or more when I stop and it idles.  I changed oil to 20-50 with little change.  The engine has many miles but seems tight and uses very little oil.  
Any ideas?  How serious is it for the light to come on for a 2 minute idle at a stop light?
