When I first got my '84 automatic, back in '91, that part was
essentially gone.  I made one using a strip of rubber in which I made a
hole for the shifter with a hole punch.  Several years ago, I ordered a
new one (they were available in black only) from BusDepot.  I haven't
installed the new one yet as my homemade piece is still working fine.
