Vanagon tires should have a load rating of at least 96. The Hydroedges which have a suitable rating would be 215/65R16, 225/60R16, and 235/60R16. All are wider and larger diameter than stock (speedo inaccurate, effectively robs engine power). Watch out for fitment issues.
