yeah.........duh. if he would have said 'blue hi beam INDICTOR LED in the dash'........... that would have made good sense. It's barely a 'bulb' after all, unless we want to consider light emitting diodes as some form of bulb. 'hi beam bulb' ........to me that can only refer to the lights on the front of the van. I see the indicator not working on some vans now and then too........the hi beam Indicator LED in the dash. My mind is so literal. I'll try to see if I can express something in a way that few can understand, just for practice. thanks, Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Beierl" <dbeierl@attglobal.net> To: "Scott Daniel - Turbovans" <scottdaniel@TURBOVANS.COM> Cc: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 3:46 PM Subject: Re: High beam blue light? > At 04:37 PM 3/11/2009, Scott Daniel - Turbovans wrote: >>I assume it's not a sealed beam and it takes a H4 type bulb, or whatever >>those bulbs are. > > Scott, he's talking about the indicator lamp on the panel, which is a tiny > bulb with a blue cover over it. > > -- > David Beierl - Providence RI USA -- http://pws.prserv.net/synergy/Vanagon/ > '89 Po' White Star "Scamp"
