Jim i would suggest you take your AAA card, credit card, Vanagon Rescue Squad list, and portfolio of driving music. The van you're purchasing is in great shape, and it doesn't make sense to fly out there with a bunch of spare parts if there is no indication of their failure. Personally, i would plan plenty of time for the drive home, i would put the windows down and enjoy it as best as possible. Think of it like studying for an exam. There are basically two schools of thought..... you can stay up all night and cram every last bit of information in the night before, or you can be confident in your knowledge and understand that there isn't much left to do but get a good night's rest. The cramming option sucks.... Choose your battles, drive slowly, and enjoy it! -Craig '85GL turned WESTY On Fri, Mar 13, 2009 at 3:50 PM, neil N <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: > On Fri, Mar 13, 2009 at 12:35 PM, Jim Lieb <jlieberie@gmail.com> wrote: > > Ok gentlemen I need some ideas.
