Hey Dan, most of us have had some kind of tranny rebuild, whether auto, manual 2wd or syncro....they are all expensive, right? Well worth the price in my mind. I love the way these things drive and am a believer in the Vanagon platform. Even if you spend, spend, spend, you are ahead of the big payments for a spiffy new car. I have a 2.3 GoWesty engine in a 2wd. How do you like yours? BTW, it's an automatic. We also have the Gowesty 2.3 engine installed by Van-Cafe. > > > > Dahn > > 85 'Betty' > > > > > >> Date: Sun, 15 Mar 2009 21:01:32 -0700 >> From: leolipert@GMAIL.COM >> Subject: Gowesty transmission - Any reviews? >> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >> >> Anyone have any experience with Gowesty's rebuilt transmissions? >> >> Thanks, Leo > > _________________________________________________________________ > Hotmail® is up to 70% faster.
