Thanks for the info Ken - and the offer. I'll see if I can't check it out
this weekend.

The symptom is hard to describe. I think by calling it a "click" in my
original message I may have minimized it. It is more than a click and less
than a clunk - if that makes any sense.

Looking at the tool the winter has taken on other parts of the van I'd be
willing to bet there are probably some replacements due.
