I posted this to the list almost 10 years ago so maybe it's time to do it
again.

A really helpful (meaning, "How did I ever get along without this?")
modification/enhancement is to paint the window screens flat black. The
stock white screens reflect a lot of light and seriously inhibit visibility,
especially when in direct sunlight, etc. Essentially it makes the screens
disappear. This also goes great with pro-tinted windows which is also a must
for a cooler interior in the summer and more privacy from would-be burglars.
