I have posted this same issue about a year ago when I installed an AC system in my doka. The idle steps up properly (as it should, about 200 RPM) until the engine warms up. Once the engine warms up the idle gradually increases and "floats" around 2K RPM. I was unable to resolve it by replacing mechanical parts. For now, I just have the wire disconnected at the AC Compressor and that is "livable" for me. If you find the solution, let me know. Do you have a copy of the Digifant FI Service Manual. Drop me a note off list if you would, please. You problem prompted me to look at my FI manual, and some questions have been raised in my mind, but I will put them in a different post so they will be archived with a better subject line. Good hunting, on this one. John Rodgers 88 GL Driver Deke Rivers wrote: > I have an '86 Westy with A/C. When I compressor engages the idle speed > increases.
