I have a very nice Kenwood CCD-900 rear view camera in my work van,
mounted to the AC evap housing, looking out the back window. Monitors
are all pretty much the same, but the camera quality seems to make a
big difference. I think the 900 is out of production, superseded by
the CCD-2000, but you can still find 900's around NOS. They're not
cheap, but the wide angle view and image quality are excellent.
