Subject:Re: has anyone fabbed up 316-stainless fuel lines?

Simply, I replaced ALL stock fuel line with Aeroquip Startlite hoses.
You make each end of the hose with a -AN fitting by cutting and assembling with the Aeroquip vise, same as a hydraulic shop would do.
I use 914 Porsche billetfuel rails that accept -AN fittings and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
The retail cost is roughly ten times that of the stock replacement kit from the usual vendors.
Most are just rolling there eyes.
Disclaimer, it may not be legal in all states, check your local DOT for use of reusable fittings on fuel and brake lines.

Dylan,

Can you outline exactly what you purchased and detail the process of
installing it please. Any issues?

Thanks,
