warmer is always better. generally speaking. running an 80 degree C t-stat won't keep the fuel injection from getting into closed loop . It'll run fine. I like a needle width to the right of the LED on the temp guage -I wish I could get all my vanagons running that warmly in the late winter/early spring. That represensts about 190 degrees F - perfectly ideal running temp. Does it get fully up to temp pretty qucikly ? ...........like in under 15 mintues .......if it does, that's a good sign. Anybody had any problems with the FI not seeing full opp temp and causing a problem? I would like to run one in my 89 which has the ac cond in front of the raid. also its running hot (a needle above the light) and I think its a bad thermostat. Thoughts? Thanks, Doug
