I have to second everything that has been said so far - I would also like to
add that I also love Bays and Splitties. I just love the VW bus (sorry
Eurovan owners those don't spin my wheels as much - but are also nice). They
are wonderful utilitarian, unique, fun, beautifully "ugly" machines.

Sure a Vanagon is that much better for all the reasons already mentioned -
but I think they are all great things. I'd love a wonderful specimen of
each.
