My little April Fool message is based on a true story from here in the Northwest. About three years ago a local VW person, actually works at a VW parts store here, scored an '87 Syncro Westy for $2,500 from a RV lot in Mt. Vernon where it had been taken in trade. IIRC his father had spotted it and the RV lot "just wanted to get rid of it". Less than 100k miles and all it really needed was tires. I saw it about two or three days after he got it, asked him if he'd like to double his money. For some reason he said declined my offer.
