Hi all. I've gotten various opinions on the possibility that a late model year Bay Bus valve might be the same as the early model Vanagon (up to mid '82 I *think*) Over on the Samba Bay list, one member kindly responded saying that a '79 and '82 share the same PN http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=351235 I searched the PN on line, and found a listing for the part for a Bay. Here's a pic of it I enhanced: http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/BrakePropValveLateBayEarlyVanagon.jpg Looks the same as whats on my '81 (though I need to double check) http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/81BrakePropValve.jpg Of course, whether or not a given vendor actually has stock of the part is another issue. Has anyone else found that this part is the same?
