Hi, got a call from a fellow named Alex who's down in Oregon from Canada
(Victoria? Vancouver? A v-town, anyway).

He's driving south and has run into a mechanical problem. It has become
difficult to shift into 4th gear on his 89 Westy. He says he has to wiggle
the gearshift to get it to go. I said I knew nothing about manual
transmissions (MW has an AT), but said I'd post this question here along
with his phone number, in case anyone can talk him through this.
