Pay the money to have a lawyer specializing in business and commerce law to research what is legal to rent, and what could happen to you in various circumstances in that business. Otherwise you'll never know if there is a law or government regulation out there just waiting to hurt you financially and squash your initiative. We live in a world where government bureaucrats have their hands in everything. To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Date: Friday, April 17, 2009, 3:56 PM Hi to all, I was wondering what it would take to rent out some of my Westfalia campers. What it would involve and would it be worth the trouble. I mostly think of the insurance side of it, but there could be much more than that, of course. Here I attempt to pick the brains of those who have either professional of some other business experience how to set up such a service. I can imagine to just lend it to the renters as a friend and get paid a little less that way but have no great legal or other liabilities. I only have four of them. Zoltan
