I just read this on the Samba and for those of you like myself with
non westy vans who want the pop top check this out.

This person in the UK sells a kit that will properly allow for a
custom bed bunk for sleeping for adults. It rectifies the whole roof/
bed platform issue.
If I priced the conversion properly it costs roughly $610 US/ $460
Euro for the basic system not including the pop top or the front
luggage rack.
