Subject:Front brake pads

I'm going to tackle my front brake pads this weekend, and noticed in the Bentley (46.5 A.) it says that new self locking bolts must be used when re-fastening brake caliper housing. I spoke with bus depot and it sounded to me like new bolts with locktite on them is what they sell for $6.00 a bolt. Is there any reason I just can't use more Loctite on the existing bolt or does it need to be replaced? I assume that I want to use the blue stuff, not red.

Any other tips for front pads? After tackling the rear drum brakes, I figure this will be a breeze. I'm going to replace both front hoses as well.
