I use a product I got from an internet vendor. It's called Deoxit D100L. I put it on the contact points on the headlights, ground points. Small bottle with a small brush applicator attached to the lid, kinda like nail polish bottles are. Since I started using it I don't have the melting 9004 connectors. Also using short ground wires running to the steel "firewall" just behind the lights seems to help. bob On Tue, Jun 9, 2009 at 11:07 PM, Roland <syncronicity1@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello folks, > > I was reading the discussion about high powered headlights overheating some > connectors, and again I saw mention that use of dielectric grease is good > practice. .... to put it on the contacts.
