A buddy here needs a replacement transmission for his 1990 Nissan Maxima
V-6 manual tranny car. All the shops here are giving him crap about
parts being NLA so they can't fix it. I think that's bull but that's the
way it is. So, I'm trying to help him get a reliable replacement from
somewhere. I have tried to convince him to get a Vanagon but that hasn't
worked. He loves that old Nissan - and his is in very good shape - but
for the tranny.

Any ideas?
