I found that the only other Vanagon at my workplace (~1500 people) has a VIN just 122 earlier than my '87 Westy. Anybody know how many days apart this translates to in date of manufacture? (I heard as many as 50,000 vans/year so that would make it just ~1 day???). Both are 2.1l gasoline engine models (the other van is an Adventurewagen). Trivia suited to a Friday.... Mike '87 Westy
