Subject:Re: tracking #

So, Walt, you can apologize now.

Brian ordered the crossover pipe on Monday and got it on Tuesday - that's
right, the day after he ordered it! An hour AFTER it was delivered, Walt
posts that I "suck" and "never ship anything on time." By then the part was
already on Brian's doorstep, the very day after we got his order! The only
reason Matt couldn't give Brian a tracking number is that he requested it
after hours, when the warehouse was closed. Matt could have provided it the
next day, but it would have been useless because by then it was already out
for delivery. The only fault I can possibly find is that Matt might have
explained this better. But he did assure Brian that the part would arrive
when promised, and indeed it did.

Interesting to see (as per the email addresses contained in the body of his
post) that Walt Spak is apparently Eric Zeno's buddy. Those who have been
here for a while will recall that Eric was booted off the list for trashing
various list members (myself included) without provocation. It seems that
Walt is continuing that proud tradition.

Moderators, I sure hope that unprovoked and unwarranted personal attacks on
fellow list members are still grounds for removal from the List. I also
hope that Walt never needs a part for his Vanagon that only the Bus Depot
has, because I'll take great pleasure in telling him to go find someone who
doesn't "suck." Life's too short to waste it dealing with people like that.
