Subject:Propane Line Corrosion. (Pic)

Hi all.

While installing my new chi-chi Nautilus ShurFlo sink pump, saw this
on propane lines:

I assume moisture got in foam bit which then made contact with sheet
metal and caused a reaction over time.

Is this normal? Leave it alone? Clean?

Maybe I could get in there with some Brasso and a rag.
