"They enjoyed a big breakfast of chicken fried steak and eggs and pancakes and are now enroute to San Francisco through the desert in the heat of the day!" Not at all "hot" in our deserts right now. They are actually getting unseasonably moderate to thunder-stormy weather throughout this entire region. I cannot recall ever, since arriving here in the late '70's, this kind of monsoon-type afternoon-showers. I was out biking earlier and stopped and chatted with a woman on the trail and that's what we commiserated about. This is very rare and the boys will be traveling in 80's degree temps at most. Check out this link, depending on which way west they're actually traveling: http://www.wunderground.com/US/NV/West_Wendover.html http://www.wunderground.com/US/NV/Winnemucca.html http://www.wunderground.com/US/NV/Reno.html http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=San%20Francisco,%20CA%20&wuSelect=WEATHER SLC to SFO likely route: http://tinyurl.com/lpbbmo * * *bob * > >
