well, for a passenger vanagon ...... and a modest and not late model one ........ those look darn desirable ! I doubt it, but I almost might have worked on the kitsap one .....there was a blue 84 I worked on in Port Townsend, Wa .......near 'kitsap', that was blue....... and strangely, the best handling 2WD stock vanagon I've ever driven .........wanted to put in a power slide at any excuse. All it had were good Michelin tires too.......but superb handling balance. that rear seat .....nice ! oh........it's a Z bed, right ? ----- Original Message ----- From: "mark drillock" <mdrillock@COX.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, July 04, 2009 7:55 PM Subject: Re: Seat/Bed Swap > 84 only, North America, here's 2 for sale. > > http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/1250750778.html > > http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/1243900392.html > > You can see the Wolfy badges, slider windows built for screens. > > Mark > > > Scott Daniel - Turbovans wrote: >> all right..... >> so when you say the '85 wolfy hardtop' is the original weekender...... >> does it have a pop top ? >> and this one you descibe is a US model ? >> >> got one of those seats for sale !? lol ! >> >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "mark drillock" <mdrillock@COX.NET> >> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> >> Sent: Saturday, July 04, 2009 6:11 PM >> Subject: Re: Seat/Bed Swap >> >> >>> The 84 Wolfsburg hardtop is the original weekender, IMHO.
