My odometer keeps breaking. The shaft pulls out of one side of the carrier
and so it doesn't engage.

BenT fixed it with lacquer [nail polish, he CLAIMED it was Tina's but???]
and it worked for about a year. Then failed.

So far I've glued it with goop, 2 part epoxy and lacquer [OK nail polish I
just happened to have a bottle of clear around.] Lasted the longest with
lacquer, about 400 miles, but each time it falls out again.

Any suggestions as to glues or other fixes? A new speedometer is around $200
so that's out.
