Hello Volks,

What is the correct stud size for a 1985 WBX? I am affraid that the PO may
have included some exhaust studs that are incorrect in type.

Are the exhaust studs for these engines M8X1.25 and have a non-treaded
portion in the center? Something tells me that is wrong (at least about the
non-treaded center).

All help is appreciated.  I seem to have seen bolts being used to for this
application. IS this correct? Why? is this any better or pratical?
