I too, am old enough to remember watching and hearing Walter Cronkite report all the news every nighton TV.

From the awful shooting of Bobby Kennedy, to the Viet Nam "skirmish" to the walk on the moon 40 years ago.

He was a dear friend as we gathered around the TV. His opinions and delivery of the days news will be missed.

Adieuold friend.

Good night, Walter. Godspeed.

inside my first VW Camper, a 1968, high in the rockies, on Chambers Pass.
