Okay - the gas tank has been removed from my van (86 syncro) - lots of prying - that thing is stuck in there plenty tight and talk about 23 years of dirt and dust. So whilst playing with the tank, I became very familiar with the three-way coupling which transfers brake fluid to both rear brakes. Can anyone tell me whether they have ever replaced the very long brake-line (about 2.8m) from the coupling at the rear to basically whatever brake component it connects to - some type of cylinder roughly somewhere underneath the front passenger seat. Anyway is there a part out there or do folks manufacture these themselves? Mine is pretty corroded and with the motor, transmission and tank out - now is the time to replace. If someone can steer me in the right direction I'd be most happy. Mucho gracias. B (who is having a celebratory beer because the tank is out" T
