Whoa! lots of 2CVs at Kilometer 20 from the end. Around one of the turns there were about 8 2CV lined up and one 1000 KiloCitroen Van. Obviously part of a club watching the race. No Vanagon sighting at this stage. Joel Cort Rochester NY. 89 Syncro Westy (CinnabarVan) 87 Syncro Transporter (Stella) 73 Westy Campmobile (agent orange) Founding Member of the Empire VW Camping Club & Westies at Watkins - www.westies-at-watkins.org ________________________________ From: Jeffrey Vickers <jeff@VICKERSDESIGN.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Tuesday, July 14, 2009 6:29:12 PM Subject: Re: Vanagons at the Tour de France- Stage 9 Col du Tourmalet No 2CVs? You need TIVO so you can reverse time and see backwards! I saw a 2CV on the stage into Andorra. My personal count: --1 brown passenger Vanagon - round headlights -- 1 orange Vanagon Westy -- 1 mid-60s bus -- 1 2CV Jeff On Jul 14, 2009, at 3:11 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote: > From: Richard Golen <rgolen@HOTMAIL.COM> > Subject: Re: Vanagons at the Tour de France- Stage 9 Col du Tourmalet > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Date: Tuesday, July 14, 2009, 10:11 AM > > > Yep, that's part of the attraction of watching the TdF...all of the > interes= > ting cars along the side of the road!
