Keith, the pump is an in the tank model which only the USA vans
had. These pumps are not made to come apart and be put back together. If
it is apart then it is broken and needs to be replaced. Probably got frozen
especially in your neck of the woods. I have them in stock, see my
_Vanagon New Parts_ (http://frankcondelli.com/sales.htm) webpage, under the
"Westfalia Camper Parts" heading. The are just connected to the water line
and to 12v electric and sit in the bottom of the tank, not connected to
anything else.

pumping to
the sink. I just opened the tank and I am out of water. That's not a
problem here in Newfoundland, but the pump appears to be apart and laying
on
the bottom of the water tank. I have never seen it before, so I don't know
the configuration. How does it all fit together?<<<<<<
