so my van is gone, i miss it already.  we're moving to norway this winter, so i figured i should sell my van in the summer while the sun is shining.  the new owner is  stand-up guy, and paid a fair price, so i'm happy about that.  but all he gave me was a piece of paper with "cashier's check" and a number written on it.  weird, since i can't sleep in this piece of paper, or drive it to the mountains for a much-needed getaway.

hm.  keep your van, if you can.
