Subject:Dometic Experts. Thermostat Part. What is it? PICS

Hi all.

(good golly. I need a new greeting!)

I want to swap the thermostat from 182A to my 182B Dometic. If anyone
of you Dometic experts has the time, it would be helpful to find out
what this part is and what it does.

182A thermostat. Red arrow points to part:

Here's the 182B that will *hopefully* receive the "new" part:

TIA !

Neil.
