OK, it's the wee hours after mid-night here - and I can't sleep - so I'm thinking up things about Vanagons. I've got a coolant level sensor light that comes on at startup (as it should) but never goes out (as it should) after just a few seconds of running. When the engine is cold, the light goes out just after starting. But if the engine has been run - and you stop then start it up again right away - that silly light comes on and never goes off - just blinks, blinks and blinks. Makes me worry about coolant, even when I know there should be no problem. I've checked the sensor in the expansion tank and it's OK. So what else - and how else - do I check, and if I need to replace something - what is it? Thanks, John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
