Dear Volks,
I messed this up a lot worse than I thought at first, and I'm very
sorry.  We've lost about seven people on account of it which is a
great shame.  Matthew was quite right to do what he did, and no doubt
we'd have lost more if he hadn't; so I'm grateful to him.

In a way this is good -- I certainly aim to keep on learning, and
also I was beginning to get a big head, so I needed humbling.  But
this was an expensive one for the list, and I sincerely apologize for
it.  Thank you all, especially Matthew, who were seriously aggravated
and hung in there anyway.
