Medal of Honor recipient Ed Freeman was a VW kinda guy. Kinda like Warren.

"He was a devoted family man whose many passions included Volkswagens (he
had many over the years, including The Thing) and fly fishing with his
grandson, Scott."

I talked with this fellow years ago in Boise. Met him through a vets
organization link. Helluva guy. We chatted about VWs, he liked my syncro,
said it would be a perfect fishing rig.
