OK... now I'm going to hi-jack this thread, kind-of...

As we reference an "Almost a Vanagon"

I wondered if anyone has seen or built or if there are any of these Popular Mechanic's Phoenix VW Bus conversions around or on this list?
http://www.rqriley.com/phx.html

I actually have a set of plans which I purchased in the early 80's, but ended up buying my 84 Westy in 1987... fulfilling my dream of owning a VW Camper van!
Now, if I can find where I put these plans?!?!

 RE: Vixen RV
I'd never even heard of one of these until this thread last week. Then,
leaving a rest stop on Hwy 2 in Washington, heading home from the big
WetWesties gathering outside Leavenworth, there sits one!! And it passed me
heading up the pass, saw it again passing through the town of Sultan .
Really nice looking rig and yeah, would really be tempting.
