Subject:Most misunderstood this Re: Battery clamp removal ...?

Most thought I am talking of the battery terminals clamps, while I have
diligently explained that it's the hold-down clamp, which is a flat bar
thing, and it's between the battery and the body, which won't let me take
either of them out.
Than I got replies back, like how to lift it out with a strap, or how to
spread the terminals to make them loose, etc. Only one guy got it out of
all.
But nevertheless, I thank all of you for trying to help in good faith,
really.
So, now it's out I can check it how it should be installed or taken out.
But I won't install one in any Westfalias and won't recommend it, other than
to bolt down the cover.
