Cool, I have tried the others and Marinco have held up much better and much longer when exposed to the elements. If you are looking to save bucks and use them inside the van, they should work. I have been using the Marinco stainless steel 30 and 50 amp power connections for years as well. Really nice upgrade if you are using shore power often. My vans are setup for work, so 30amps gets used frequently with power tools, compressor and welder. dylan ________________________________ From: Mike S <mikes@flatsurface.com> To: dylan <insyncro@YAHOO.COM> Cc: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Sun, October 18, 2009 5:48:58 PM Subject: Re: Dash Power outlet..? They hold up very well in the elements. I see they sell for about $15 on Amazon. You can get the same one from Digikey for $3: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=AS212-ND They also have the locking plugs to match: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=AP121-ND
