it should work as well as any one-step 'just add' stop leak. there is one though, that claims to be, and has instructions, that would put it in a whole other category. Nanottechnology Permanent Head GAsket & Block repair. the instructions are involved.. they have you remove the t-stat, flush out the a-frz with water about 4 times..... but the juice in ......... run it ......... drain it, let it sit overnight no coolant in it, and radiator cap removed ..... numerous steps. they swear, and guarantee, if you follow the instructions it will work. a freind did it on a Honda , and it worked. Can't say about a waterboxer ...........they don't have conventional, or 'real' headgaskets. Under 20 bucks for the bottle of Nanotechnology I think., Scott www.turbovans.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rodgers" <inua@CHARTER.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 10:28 AM Subject: Subaru Coolant/Leak Stop > From all accounts, I guess Subaru engines can have leaks like WBX'ers > > Anyone know the official name of the stuff Subaru uses to add to > coolant to stop leaks? > > Will it work for WBX engines - particularly for head leaks. > > Thanks > > John Rodgers > 88 GL Driver
