Hi all.

This is for a stock '81 Canadian Westy. It has intermittent wipers.

I have a "99" programmable wiper relay from an early 90's 2.0 Jetta.

Archives show that it swaps right in on later model years. Didn't see
anything re: early model years. But.... Aside from what I see as 2
differences (L to rear wiper. 53), wiring to/from the wiper relay on
'81 and '86 appears the same.

Can I swap in the "99" programmable relay into '81 w/o any modifications?
