Speaking strictly for myself; I have kids in school and I drive an auto GL,
so if it wasn't happening during the holiday break I'd go for a weekend
(we'd probably just keep the kids out of school on a Monday or Friday to
make it three days) and I'd prefer that wherever-it-was wasn't at the far
end of some goat path. : )
Panamint Springs (as a point of reference) is about 70 miles from here, so I
suppose I can and should be flexible in regards to the schedules of folks
that are going to have to travel. Driving from Vancouver, for instance,
seems to me to be fairly considerable undertaking, and since you're
instigating this perhaps we need to know what your parameters are?

Perhaps you can go through Bend on your way down and make Rocky come with
you. hehe

Well I guess I was thinking to make a weekend the focus but
it doesn't matter to me but I thought it might to some.
I plan on spending more time in area so who knows people
may like to travel a bit together after the weekend.
Another possibility is to make it for early January as some
people will be on their way to Buses by Bridge in Lake
Havasu, Arizona for that bus gathering.
What do people think?
