Geeze, every time I see an email header with Mike's name I brace myself.
Always the pessimist, I guess.
I don't know Mike personally, but being on this list for so long and knowing
the general character and quality of list members, I can't help but be
rather concerned for his welfare.
My wife has had health issues in the past and it really puts things in
perspective when a loved one is sick.  Suddenly all your other problems seem
trivial.
My heart goes out to his family.
