What RV A/C will run on 900W of power (the Honda EU1000i, which is the small quiet one people are discussing, is rated 1000W peak, 900W continuous)? Most RV A/Cs seem to start at around 13,500 BTU, and want close to 1500W for continuous running, and much more when starting. (ref: Carrier - http://www.airv.carrier.com/Files/AirV/Local/US-en/customer_service/62-11187.pdf ) Dometic makes a 9000 BTU one, but even that wants over 1200W continuous. I suspect what you encountered wasn't actually one of the "super quiet" model Hondas. People will often buy the contractor models, which are quite noisy, because they're much cheaper.
