I ALWAYS, ALWAYS choose the locations without RVs. If I find that I am relegated to the RV parks with my van (not allowed in the tents only locales, though other vans without a sink in them are), then I will simply get rid of the van. I have the van for its camping utility, not because I am enamoured with a Vanagon. I've only had the van a few months, and have not had a problem so far. But I am not spending time and money to be corraled with idiots.
