I have rebuilt three motors. This is a fairly straight forward mechanical
job. The shaft rusts in the lower bearing. Pulling out the rotor and
re-installing the lower bearing retainer can be difficult. It beats the cost
of a new motor though. I have some pics of a disassembled motor somewhere if
you are interested.
